The Semiotics of Fish is a shrine for my pet fish that died January 11th, 2020.
The shrine references my first time seeing a dead body--which was my grandmother's (who passed August 2017). Fish is religiously a symbol of continuity of life. Here, fish is a memento of my guilt, responsibility and death.
